Stunningly beautiful hotel, amazingly comfortable rooms. Location short walk to the restaurant and bar and the center of Hemsedal. Also, on really everything.

Everything in this modern hotel was perfect, we loved it. The property had indeed a marvellous and excellent location so close to the center of Hemsedal. Found a place called Restaurant Liv, set a short way from the hotel, ate there a few times...

Not clean bathroom.

I stayed here 1 night and truly enjoyed it. The location of the hotel was perfect, on really everything. Besides, it was near the center, the restaurant and bar and the surrounding mountains. Overall the service was terrific! Parking was in the property and I paid extra gbp 12 per day to park the car.

Gourmet breakfast with a view

Waking up to fine mountain vistas was lovely. The breakfast spread was wonderfully diverse, including freshly made local pastries that delighted our taste buds. The staff's professionalism enhanced our stay.

The housekeeping left much to be desired. Our room wasn't tidied properly, and when raising this, we received a lackluster response. The additional fee for pool access felt excessive for a resort environment.

The hotel's gourmet breakfast buffet was excellent, with a wide variety of made-to-order options that set a great tone for each day.

The details you care about most

The hotel boasts fine architecture with warm interiors that are both stylish and quirky. Lounge areas with games and fire pits create a cute atmosphere. The breakfasts are fantastic, and the restaurant provides an excellent food selection. Rooms are spacious with divine bedding, while the friendly staff was great.

The reception and bar areas were super cozy, and I absolutely loved the pizza from the bar and the excellent breakfast options. The heated swimming pool and sauna were perfect spots to unwind after a long day. Just a heads up, the bathroom lacked shelf space, so keep that in mind!

The interior design of this hotel is fine, with inviting warm colors and unique decor throughout. The pool area and lounge spaces offer plenty of opportunities to relax, contributing to a cozy atmosphere. Dinner reservations were necessary due to high demand. Unfortunately, housekeeping did not meet expectations as the room was not properly attended to. The experience was complemented by a superb breakfast that delightfully included tacos!

The large heated swimming pool and sauna provide a refreshing retreat after a long day. Breakfast was really good, with a diverse spread that included freshly made local pastries and organic juices, setting the tone for a productive day.

Stylish escape with a few quirks

The hotel has this really cool design, and I loved chilling by the fire pits. The beds were super comfy, but the ski locker area was pitch dark, had to use my phone flashlight each time. The pool was perfect, and don't miss the pizza at the bar. It was delicious!

cozy, cozy, cozy

I found numerous charming nooks to chill with a book by the fireplace. The open design allowed me to enjoy amazing mountain views while indulging in an really good breakfast buffet. I was delighted by the indulgent experience in the sprawling pool area, offering both tropical vibes indoors and serene outdoor relaxation spots.
